We recommend registering your patient for the course at their initial obesity-specific appointment so they can start learning right away! Patients should start with Foundations chapter which includes the pathophysiology of obesity and insulin resistance. After the Foundations Chapter, the course can be used as a “choose your own adventure” depending on which behaviors or therapies you and your patient are addressing.

When you purchase your membership, you will receive a unique code for your practice. This code allows you to register your patients for the course at no additional cost. For example, if you purchased the membership for 26-50 patients, the code would work up to 50 times. If you need additional codes, you can upgrade your membership to the next level (51-100) and you will receive 49 additional codes for a total of 100 codes.

Once you enroll for membership, your membership lasts for one full year. Your membership fee is split into 12-monthly payments.

Yes, you can choose to monetize the course if you wish! Patient education material is typically not covered by insurance, so you could charge a cash fee for these materials. Some programs have monthly membership fees for their patients, others charge a fee-for-service, and some have program fees. How and even if you choose to monetize this course is entirely up to you. Keep in mind that the time and resources you save by not having to create and deliver the patient education material yourself already more than covers the cost of your membership and will free you up to see more patients (or enjoy more free time)!

When you purchase your membership, you will receive a link and a unique code to register your patients. The only other information you will need to register your patients is their name and email address. That’s it!

You can cancel your membership any time in the first 30 days and receive a full refund if you decide that the course is not a good fit for your practice. After that, your membership is locked in for one full year. If you wish to cancel after your one-year commitment is up, you can email us at Karli@GainingHealth.com with the subject line “CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP” within 30 days of your plan renewal and we will cancel your membership for you.
